...and it already had a head on it (was cheaper after shipping than the headless bodies for sale, which all seemed to be in Europe, and now she can re-sell the head). She tried to take the head off by herself without help, and eventually succeeded... in unstringing the whole doll. I am going to have to go over and do an emergency re-string this evening, I guess. I'm hoping she didn't scratch the head up trying to get it off, and I'm going to volunteer to take it and give it a new fresh faceup before she sells it, if she wants. It's an El. LOVE Els.

On another note I just took a couple weeks off from faceups, but am starting back in a week or so. I'm full up at the moment (taking a limited number due to my sister's upcoming wedding) but am looking forward to doing them. I have a couple minor things to do for my own dolls, but no full faceups for them right now.

HERE's a picture I took of my sis in her wedding dress. (Jeremy, if you find this DON'T LOOK!)

She wants me to bring my Puki to her wedding. I keep wondering what the heck I'd do with her. Tie her to my bouquet? Perch her on my head? The flower girl is barely 2, so tying her to the basket is out. I thought about the ring bearer's pillow, but that might be too obvious a place.

ha ha i can't tell you how many times I tried to take David's head off and he would magically unstring himself. An epic battle would follow as I would try to get him back together without unstringing completely. I swear that Volks body was disaster, and since I still own it in the form of Shae, I guess it still is. It likes Shae better...no weird unstringing issues.

I have seen a lot of scary wedding dresses lately, it's nice to see a pretty one for a change!! Your sis looks so good! I love the skirt on it, and is it pinkish?? it's so nice <3

Lol Wedding Puki. does she have to wear wedding colors?

I got this one together, luckily I went over there as it's strung with 3 strings instead of two so it was easier to show than explain. His elastic is really shot though, so I'll probably be re-stringing him with new elastic soon. Luckily the head's on now and he's dressed so hopefully she won't end up unstringing him again!

Thanks, her dress is pink - the sun actually made it a little less pink than it is! She's very princessy and pink is her favorite color, I like it a lot!

I think if I take Sprocket she'll probably wear a pink dress. I'm wearing black (all the bridesmaids are).

Yes, that. Is it pinkish? She looks lovely. If you could get or make a little drawstring bag that would be matchy, you could wear it on your wrist, I guess. Maybe there would even be a favor bag at the craft store that might work? Although you might have to put longer ribbon ties on it.

I hadn't thought of a bag for her, that might work. I'll have to see how it works out. Maybe Julie will settle for having her at the rehearsal, I know she won't have time to play with her at the reception or anything so I'm not sure why she wants me to bring her.

Her dress is pink, a little pinker than the photo shows actually! It suits her so well, our mom was a little wary of the pink at first but I can't imagine her wearing anything that didn't at least have pink ON it.
